Planning garden zones

I’ve been plotting out all the garden zones, backyard, side yard and front yard around my house. Lots of pacing and pondering from all the different angles and vantage points. Lots of thinking about how all the zones connect and complement one another. I know I want it to feel relaxed and welcoming.

I know I want a native, woodsy vibe running through it all. I think all that time spent up on the North Shore has really influenced me.

As always I’m translating my ideas into visual renderings to demonstrate the basic layout and aesthetic. (I still need to add barrel saunas to my image library so the sauna pictured is a makeshift wonky stand-in at a different orientation than it would actually be)

I’ll add a couple more Adirondacks to the patio to accommodate a few friends and when the weather permits I’ll pull the fire pit out of the garage. Backyard hangs ahead!
