Trail cam

We downloaded images from our trail cam up on the land yesterday. It was a treasure trove! There was even a cat! It was hard to see because of the positioning so I didn’t post that pic here. It’s probably a bobcat or lynx (relatively common), though could be a mountain lion I suppose. SO cool. It makes me really happy that our land is a safe home for all of these creatures. I popped up a lot on the cam too ;) Just another animal out in the woods.

Most of our land is relatively untouched, with the exception of forest trails winding through, and has all the bioindicators of a healthy North Shore Highlands ecosystem. It makes sense that all of these animals are living and thriving within it.
